In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and System Center Products. Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server, migrating Active Directory in enterprise environments (100,000+ users) with multiple forests. Experience with PKI. Solid experience with design and implementation of advanced server infrastructure with skills in High Availability, Diagnostics, Capacity Management and Performance Tuning. Advanced PowerShell Scripting techniques. Experience with Active Directory Certificate Services. Experience with Microsoft Direct Access and Universal Access Gateways. Tier 3 level troubleshooting. Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to transform technical knowledge into business language (e.g. reports, presentations, etc.) Current Microsoft certification.

We are seeking a well-qualified, experienced and talented SharePoint Architect to join our team as a permanent / full time consultant. The SharePoint Architect will play a central role in the complete project and solution lifecycle including: presale efforts and responding to RFPs, designing and implementing solutions and envisioning follow up work. This role also focuses heavily on software architecture, development, customization, integration as well as technical project management for various teams. Overall, about 50% of this role involves hands-on SharePoint Development.
The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership on best practices for architectural design, understand the Microsoft SharePoint solution stack, and have a thorough understanding of enterprise application design, development and integration involving Business Process and Forms, Business Intelligence, Collaboration, CRM, Enterprise Content Management, and Portals. This person will lead architecture and design reviews for Enterprise Collaboration projects that focus on planning, deploying, and targeting new or significant modifications of existing enterprise SharePoint implementations. Must provide individual or project support for complex projects or applications, adhere to project timelines and technical deliverables within different client environments, and analyze and provide quality technical solutions that exceed client expectations.
This role requires a proven technical skill set that has been demonstrated in the development of enterprise Line of Business applications and their integration into heterogeneous enterprise systems. Expert level knowledge and practical experience with SharePoint, Microsoft .NET Framework, web application development, IIS, and other related technologies must also be proven.
Participate in remote and on-site sales and project planning, including creation of technical aspects of sales presentations. Collaborate on authoring and defining proposal and statement of works terms. Participate in the gathering and documenting of requirements from non-technical business users as well as technical users. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements. Create functional and technical design documents, translate business requirements into system requirements, create prototype solutions, demo and train users, and implement solutions. Design, develop, document, and deploy all existing forms of SharePoint solutions and apps. Install and configure SharePoint farms and service applications at the enterprise level in distributed global environments. Perform administrative activities such as backup, restore, site creation, and user issue resolution. Configure and maintain SharePoint site artifacts such as Site Collections, sites, document libraries, lists, and pages. Provide technical leadership to other consultants and potentially gain supervisory responsibilities over time.
7+ years experience with business information systems integration or custom business application design and development in a professional technology consulting, corporate MIS or software development environment. Advanced development knowledge and experience with the SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2010 (Hands-on project experience with SharePoint 2013 is strongly desired, but is not an absolute requirement. Advanced experience in SharePoint 2010 is required.) Deep expertise in programming within the .NET Framework stack of technologies. Highly knowledgeable in front-end development languages/technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and other frameworks) and ASP.NET web development. Thorough understanding of SQL installation and configuration including SQL clustering and other HADR configurations. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS. Proven knowledge and experience with: Agile methodologies, enterprise integration, and software development patterns. Experience presenting to and interacting with prospects and customers of all levels within their organization.
Strong customer interaction skills and ability to understand and document customer needs from a business solutions perspective.
